This kingfisher is a daily visitor and this plant on which he's perched is one of his favourite spots. He's a colourful fellow with bright copper sulphate blue wings, chocolate brown body and a patch of white on his chest. He's seen occasionally with his companion, but he's there without fail everyday.
The last spell of rains also brought many birds, including migratory ones to the neighbourhood. I was, one fine day inspired to start shooting them on my digital camera. This one turned out to be interesting, because of the bird's reflection, which added a new dimension to the photograph. Not sure though what bird it is.
